ネイティブからのアドバイス
1) I like “hang out” when talking about friends.
It’s really casual and has a connotation of just spending time together, not doing anything in particular.
2) “Wasting my time” is a good way of saying they take up your time doing something that you don’t want to do.
Some other options:
“My friends bother me all day and waste my time.”
This one is more strongly negative.
“My friends are always coming to chat with me and waste my precious time.”
When we say “waste my (precious) time, we don’t need to say that it bothers you.
Saying they waste your time makes it obvious that it bothers you.
“It really bothers me when my friends come see me just to waste time.”
I made the focus of this sentence that they are bothering you, with the reasons coming after.
