・～ほど…する：do … enough to do ～

・～も…もない：be neither ～ nor …

I stayed neither nearer him nor longer to the extent that I got a disease from him.

I have suggested saying that you were “neither near enough to him nor with him for long enough to catch a disease from him.”

Another option would be:
“I was not near enough to him, nor did I spend enough time with him, to catch a disease from him.”
I have suggested perhaps using the verb “catch” as an alternative to “get” here, as I think this perhaps sounds most natural.

A more formal option might be the verb “contract”:
“I was neither near enough to him nor with him for long enough to contract a disease from him.
We can also say that you were neither near enough to him nor with him for long enough to “have caught” a disease from him:
