– “in the strong sunshine” would probably be okay. However, a more common way of phrasing this sort of thing would be to say “in the hot sun” – that provides the nuance that you seem to be looking for.
– You need to connect the action of the person seeing you walking in the sun with the action of offering you a lift. To do so, you need to include the conjunction “and” near the end.
– The ending is not grammatically correct. First, you haven’t mentioned a destination, so “take me” doesn’t make sense. Also, the article “the” in “the car” is not needed.
